I spent a part of the weekend at my parents place and today when I left to go back to Amsterdam my mum gave me a whole shitload of flowers! SUPERSWEET, kudos for her.
I lived in London for a while and god I miss it! I love london like a fat kid loves cake! But lets get to the point, something I also loved about London were my lazy afternoons on Portobello road. A website to ease the pain is www.pretaportobello.com, the online fashionmarket. If you're not able to visit Portobello road, you can buy things that are being sold on Portobello market online.
PS If you are in London you probably will visit Portobello road. But don't forget the markets in Shoreditch, Spitalfields and Bricklane, where shopping and going out is also massive fun!!
"Sunny, yesterday my life was filled with rain. Sunny, you smiled at me and really eased the pain. The dark days are gone, and the bright days are here, My sunny one shines so sincere. Sunny one so true, I love you."
Went foodshopping today! A stop at the Chinese supermarket and the natural and organic grocery store Marqt in Amsterdam. Couldn't help it to indulge myself with a bottle of sake and new sake cups. I'm currently addicted to edamame (soybeans) so I also stocked two packs of those in my freezer (RECOMMENDED!) Bought new steamboxes, some dumplings and hoisin sauce as well hmm!
1. The suitcase pictured above I found next to the garbage containers in my street. Love it! It's in perfect condition and genuine leather. Maybe usefull if I'm ever getting a serious job. No I didn't steal it, it was empty and I think the former owner had already said his goodbyes to it.
2. The knitted bolero is a gift of one of my best friends for my birthday. Supernice and warm!
